TORINO – MASSANOVA, Via Roma

Is the one coming from the mannequins a call from the wonderland or a call you should miss??
The feeling of betrayal you experience when noticing that the same dress definitely doesn’t make the same effect upon you and the mannequins is something capable of ruine the entire weekend. Is this sensation maybe due to the fact that we see in this plastic human being reproductions something more then what they are and what they are useful to? We see them as friends givin us tips on fashion. We see them as models of how we should look like. We see them as a better us.
Well stop having nightmares: they only show you what’s inside the store! As for the one of Massanova btque, displaying this really strong, metropolitan look, crowned with loads of studs!!!
I already Knew the studded skirt - which I really liked – wouldn’t fit me that well………..Let’s say: keep your friends close but the mannequins closer!!

TORINO - SAN CARLO DAL 1973, Via Lagrange 8/b

Is it really true that we don’t judge the book by its cover?
I always thought to have style and dress well and this is what people always said to me. But working in the fashion system makes all really different. Because in this world everyone thinks to be a “Fashion God”, judging everybody else look once by the quality, once by the style, once by the brand..and, of course, the lauder voice is always the one followed by the mass..So I found myself trying to accomplish the “Fashion God” of the time and “losing my religion”, matching clothes that I’d never even have considered myself!!
But we all know the solution, don’t we? Let’s admit the cover IS definitely important. Let’s admit that our idea of cover IS the most important. And through this consciousness, try to find again ourselves and our personal taste. This is exactly what I felt in front of this Carven red silk dress. It catches my eyes from the first step inside the San Carlo btque. Truly amazing!

Davvero fantastico!

TORINO – CAFFÉ’ D’ARTE, Via Antonio Bertola

Hi everyone!
As I wrote I’m a travelling, advertising, fashion lover. So I decided to combine these passions, creating a blog where promoting boutique of different cities, by providing you with news on “pearls” you can actually find inside every store.
I’m writing from the Caffè d’Arte, a bar with a real French bistrot taste in the center of Turin, the city of this week. If you think that I don’t like eating neither vegetables nor meet (I know..I’m a proud carbs eater!!) and they made me fall in love with a dish of vegetables and turckey, you can tell it’s really a place you should go to!!

Ciao a tutti!
